Pleiades is a 1:1 full-size replica of the Mutable Instruments Plaits macro oscillator, using the same circuit and firmware with identical functionality. Plaits is a complete synthesis voice covering 16 models — virtual analog, waveshaping, FM, granular, additive, wavetable, speech, chord and physical modelling, plus noise and percussion — with two continuous timbre controls and paired main and auxiliary outputs. Firmware 1.2 adds 8 further models.
Built by hand in California. With an anodized aluminum panel, genuine Rogan knobs, real Alpha pots and the same components as the original, it is as close as you can come in a new build.
